ATTN: Customers on Ave J
Update: Turning off water for the bore. Estimated to last up to 2 hrs.

We are aware that a few homes on Ave J are experiencing fluctuations in water pressure following our recent emergency main line repair. Upon investigation, we discovered a difference in pipe sizing that caused debris and rocks to become lodged in the line, preventing proper flushing to the end of the street.
This has resulted in low pressure, discolored water, and odor issues for customers at the end of Ave J. To resolve the problem, we will be upgrading that portion of the line to better accommodate the number of connected homes.
Boring for the new line will begin today, October 14, 2025. We will continue to send updates as more information becomes available from our contractors.
